romulus is a logistical platform for the art world, with a focus on transparency and communication. Our mission is to make art collecting more seamless and inclusive. As such, anyone using our platform – advisors, curators, dealers, collectors – can spend more time focusing on the art itself. We at romulus believe collecting art should be enriching, not intimidating or tedious, and the software we are developing embodies this message.


founded by rachel cole

romulus was founded by New York-based art advisor Rachel Cole. Rachel has made her career by placing minority artists historically underrepresented in the public art space, including women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ artists. Alongside her work to diversify private collections, she has facilitated museum donations to LACMA, the Brooklyn Museum, SFMOMA, Baltimore Museum of Art, High Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and more. Rachel is on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, class of 2022 in the Art & Style category, and she first entered the art world in 2013 and has worked at institutions including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Christie’s Auction House.
